Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking a QA-focused engineer to develop and maintain quality systems for aerospace composite components. The role emphasizes inspection, GD&T interpretation, and APQP practices to ensure products meet stringent standards.

You will collaborate with design and manufacturing to audit, test, and improve processes, with a strong emphasis on reliability and documentation. Day shifts, on-site in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in designated Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years experience in QA/manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
• 0-2 years QA experience in composite airframe components and assemblies is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in print reading, interpretation, and part measurement.
• Knowledge of APQP and GD&T.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GD&T and statistical quality control.
• Investigate quality problems and develop solutions.
• Lead and collaborate with teams to drive quality improvements.
