Responsibilities

  • Monitors, tests, and inspects products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed.
  • May work in laboratory settings running tests and duplicating real-world conditions, using tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, volt meters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment.
  • Defines and conducts testing to ensure proper performance of Parker Meggitt products.
  • Performs internal audits of processes using inspection results and statistical techniques to provide timely, accurate product analysis.
  • Participates in root cause analysis initiatives for process-related concerns.
  • Analyzes audit results and determines proper corrective and preventative action.
  • Determines document control requirements per regulatory guidelines; review inspection forms and records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Under direct supervision, monitors, tests, and inspects products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.

Responsibilities

Monitors, tests, and inspects products to ensure they meet specified standards are free of flaws and functions as designed. May work in laboratory settings running tests and duplicating real-world conditions, using tools such micrometers, calipers, gauges, volt meters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment to aid in quality inspections and assessments

Participates in development of testing and inspection activities associated with product development and all stages of manufacturing. Defines and conducts both systematic methodical and random arbitrary tests to ensure proper performance of Parker Meggitt products.

Performs internal audits of processes using inspection results and statistical techniques to Provide timely, accurate product analysis. Participates in root cause analysis initiatives for process-related concerns. Analyzes audit results and determines proper corrective and preventative action.

Determines document control requirements per regulatory guidelines; review inspection forms and records for accuracy and compliance.

Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A combination of relevant education and experience can be considered in lieu of exact educational and/or experience requirements
  • Experience in aerospace and/or rubber and silicone industries is a plus
