Job summary

NEURA Robotics is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to elevate product quality across hardware, software, and firmware. You will develop robust test plans, audit suppliers, and drive CAPA processes while collaborating closely with design and production teams.

Your role combines hands-on testing, data-driven analysis, and adherence to ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and SPC. Fluency in German and English helps you communicate quality insights across international teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics or a related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality management and development environments.
  • Solid knowledge of sensors, actuators, control systems, robotics, and programming (e.g., Python/C++).
  • Experience in the analysis and measurement of electronic and mechanical components.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (ISO standards, Six Sigma, SPC).
  • In‑depth knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and execute test plans for hardware components.
  • Monitor burn‑in tests and performance tests.
  • Collaborate with development teams to validate new designs and updates.
  • Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
  • Implement statistical process control (SPC) and conduct process capability studies.
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve quality‑related issues in manufacturing.
  • Create and maintain detailed quality documentation, including test reports, risk assessments, and FMEA.
  • Identify trends and proactively propose process and design improvements.

Your mission & challenges

Your responsibilities include
Quality Assurance & Control
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Testing & Validation
  • Develop and execute test plans for hardware components.
  • Monitor burn‑in tests and performance tests.
  • Collaborate with development teams to validate new designs and updates.
Supplier & Production Quality
  • Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
