Job summary

NEURA Robotics is seeking a supplier quality professional to develop and assure supplier quality across our supply base. You will lead audits, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with procurement, production, and QA to meet product and process requirements.

The role emphasizes hands-on supplier evaluation, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement across the supply chain, with on-site visits and bilingual German/English communication as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical education or degree in engineering, industrial engineering, production technology, quality management, or related field.
• Several years of experience in supplier quality management, technical procurement, or supplier management with audits/evaluations.
• Solid knowledge of quality methods such as 8D, FMEA, root cause analysis and ISO 9001.
• Certified as a supplier auditor, process auditor, or equivalent (VDA 6.3 / ISO 9001 Auditor).
• Technical understanding of products, manufacturing processes, and quality requirements; able to analyze complaints and follow up on corrective actions.
• Confident communication with external partners; structured, analytical, solution-oriented work style.
• Willingness to conduct occasional on-site supplier visits; excellent German and English skills.

Responsibilities

• You ensure and continuously develop the quality of our suppliers to maintain our high standards.
• Systematically qualify, evaluate, and develop suppliers and support procurement in supplier selection from a quality perspective.
• Plan and conduct supplier audits and process assessments for quality compliance.
• Lead supplier complaint management, analyze issues, and implement 8D corrective actions.
• Support supplier approvals, first article inspections, and sampling to meet product and process requirements.
• Define and monitor key supplier KPIs and analyze performance to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and QA teams as the technical interface to suppliers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of supplier quality processes and QA standards across the supply chain.

• You systematically qualify, evaluate, and develop suppliers and support procurement in the selection and approval of new partners from a quality perspective.

• You plan and conduct supplier audits and process assessments to ensure compliance with our quality requirements.

• You take responsibility for supplier complaint management, analyze quality issues in a structured way, and ensure the sustainable implementation of corrective actions through the 8D process.

• You support supplier approvals, first article inspections, and sampling processes while ensuring that product and process requirements are met.

• You define and monitor key supplier KPIs and analyze supplier performance to identify and drive improvement initiatives.

• You work closely with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams and act as a technical interface for our suppliers.

• You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our supplier quality processes and the further development of quality standards across the supply chain.

• You hold a certification as a supplier auditor, process auditor, or an equivalent qualification, such as VDA 6.3 or ISO 9001 Auditor.

• You possess technical understanding of products, manufacturing processes, and quality requirements, and you can analyze complaints as well as initiate and follow up on corrective actions.

• You present yourself confidently to external partners and suppliers and work in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner.

• You are willing to conduct occasional on-site supplier visits and have excellent German and English skills.
