Job description

Your Mission & Challenges

Together, we're taking the next step into the era of cognitive and humanoid robotics.

As a hands‑on Value Stream Planner / Industrial Engineer, you will help shape the future of our manufacturing systems and actively contribute to building the elements of the NEURA Production System.

You will work at the interface between development, production, quality, logistics, and plant engineering – with the goal of designing production systems as well as value and data streams to be efficient, stable, and future‑proof.

Your goal: to create digital, efficient, robust, and scalable manufacturing concepts through lean principles, data‑driven value stream and process analyses, and innovative technical approaches.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing, optimizing, and stabilizing value streams – from raw material logistics to the finished robotic system.
  • Supporting product and process approvals during ramp‑up and managing technical changes.
  • Analyzing production and work processes, identifying bottlenecks, and developing sustainable improvement measures.
  • Applying lean methods and value stream analyses to systematically reduce waste in material, information, and data flows, and continuously improving standards within the production system.
  • Supporting the introduction of new methods as well as robotic, automated manufacturing systems, including the necessary digitalization steps and IT processes (MES, data analysis).
  • Designing material, information, and data flows, conducting time studies and layout analyses, and deriving stable standards from them.
  • Working closely with development, quality, production, and logistics to establish consistently effective process solutions.
  • Coordinating the creation and change management of product‑related documents in manufacturing (e.g., FMEA, BOM, control plan, work instructions, etc.).
What you can look forward to

You are a constructive thinker with a hands‑on approach who wants to actively help shape the future of modern robotic systems.

  • Quality awareness, technical understanding, and a solution‑oriented approach define you. You also bring:
  • A completed master's degree in industrial engineering, production engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
  • Several years of experience applying lean methods as well as value stream analysis and value stream design – including information and data flows – for the continuous improvement and optimization of high‑volume production of mechatronic products.
  • A very solid foundational understanding of manufacturing technology and industrial engineering methods; REFA or MTM certifications are a plus.
  • A hands‑on mentality with a structured and analytical way of working.
  • The ability to actively shape and implement change processes.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability in interdisciplinary projects.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
