Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with dimensional inspections and failure analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Knowledge of welding and heavy industrial repair practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the DIA process for heavy blast furnace equipment.
- Evaluate component condition and determine repair/refurbishment methods.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and refurbishment recommendations.
- Develop cost estimates and assist Project Managers.
- Verify repairs meet drawings, quality plans, and standards.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, purchasing, and suppliers.
- Prepare NCRs and final quality documentation.
- Perform final inspections prior to shipment.
