Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Quality Engineer in Stamford, CT to join a growing manufacturing team. You will lead quality initiatives, drive ISO 9001 compliance, and implement robust QMS processes to ensure product quality across the value stream.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years in quality within manufacturing, with Six Sigma and AS9100 awareness a plus. Excellent benefits and room for growth are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Quality role within manufacturing; up to two (2) years in a related role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide site-level QC leadership for ISO 9001 audits and audit readiness.
  • Design, implement and maintain quality control plans and inspection systems.
  • Oversee product quality as QA representative for inspections, holds, CAPAs, and meetings.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and engagement.
  • Analyze data, identify trends and recommend KPI-driven improvements.
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and lead corrective/preventive actions.
  • Lead RCCA for supplier and customer issues using 8D methods.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events from a quality perspective.
  • Conduct supplier quality audits to ensure compliance with requirements.
