Job summary

Seegrid seeks a Quality Engineer to evaluate hardware design and modifications of Autonomous Mobile Robots and related components. The QE will assess design decisions affecting performance, safety, and reliability using statistical analysis and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years engineering experience required.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical testing standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow strict specifications.
• Visual acuity to inspect workmanship to published specs.
• Ability to operate computers and data entry equipment.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Determine incoming inspections, testing, and screening methods for QA and control.
• Develop QC methods, procedures, and test fixtures.
• Lead or assist in design validation of new products or features.
• Provide quality metrics reports and data analysis for cross-functional teams.
• Support QC staff with reliability screening and process improvements.
• Drive 8D problem solving for field failures or performance degradation.
• Coordinate with supplier QE to ensure reliable components.
• Participate in process improvement and nonconformance reduction programs.
• Conduct regular quality reviews with stakeholders.
