Job summary

Innovative Labs in Springville, Utah is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure products meet specifications from pilot runs to routine production. You’ll own production quality systems, CAPA follow-up, equipment and cleaning validations, and support regulatory and customer audits.

This hands-on, on-site role involves working with customers on site, collaborating with Production and Quality teams, and adapting to schedule variations around pilot runs and visits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality experience in food, dietary supplements, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, or related field.
• Knowledge of FDA cGMP (21 CFR Parts 111 & 117) and HACCP.
• Strong root cause analysis and CAPA documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and verify in-process quality checks and lot verification.
• Collaborate with quality technicians and support documentation.
• Maintain quality checks in RedZone and ensure accuracy.
• Follow up on CAPAs and verify effectiveness.
• Oversee equipment qualification and cleaning validations.
• Support regulatory audits and customer on-site activities.
• Complete paperwork and records in real time.
