Job summary

Pura USA is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Engineer for our Utah manufacturing site. You will drive quality initiatives in a high-volume hardware environment, leading QMS development, CAPAs, and supplier quality programs to ensure product integrity from concept to delivery.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with R&D and production, Lean Six Sigma improvements, and regulatory compliance, with up to 25% travel supporting global partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment with proficiency in PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and SPC.
• ASQ, CQA, or CQE certifications.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality systems.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma proficiency.
• Experience with manufacturing automation, robotics, and smart factory technologies is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
• Lead end-to-end PPAP submission process for new product launches and engineering changes.
• Establish and track quality metrics to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.
• Lead robust root cause analysis initiatives and execute CAPAs.
• Drive quality engineering initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce defects using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Perform SPC and analyze production/testing data to address quality gaps.
• Oversee supplier quality management including audits, corrective actions, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to optimize product requirements and GD&T adherence.
• Direct and optimize IQC, IPQC, and OQC quality control for raw components, FG, and packaging.
• Improve lot tracking and traceability systems; support audits and regulatory inspections.
