Job summary

Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH seeks a Quality Engineer to verify conformance to requirements and drive root-cause analyses for nonconforming products and processes. You will assist multiple departments in determining corrective actions and help ensure quality is built into design and manufacturing.

Responsibilities include reviews of manufacturing instructions, audits, and collaboration with engineering and customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a thorough understanding of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other departments, including manufacturing, engineering and management.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with the customer, both in verbal and written formats.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Must have the ability to analyze data to formulate quality and reliability decisions.
• Experience on Material Review Board as participant and/or chairperson a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify conformance to specified requirements.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconforming product or process.
• Review and approve manufacturing build instructions for design compliance.
• Perform internal process and product audits for QMS conformance.
• Interface with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability and quality.
