Job summary

Pole/Zero Corporation located in West Chester, OH, is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections on electronic and electromechanical assemblies. You will verify conformance to specifications, generate NCRs, and ensure proper documentation and release for shipment.

Experience with IPC-A-610, reading prints, and using gauges/microscopes is essential. Collaborative QA involvement and process improvement will be part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and inspection procedures.
• Ability to read engineering prints/drawings.
• Experience using gauges and handheld measurement tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• ISO9001/AS9100 training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with documents and specs.
• Write nonconformance reports when discrepancies are found.
• Verify rework/repair completed per requirements.
• Report inspections and move product in the system.
• Stamp off inspection steps and release product for shipment.
• Interface with production and engineering on issues.
• Assist production with quality and process improvements.
• Collaborate with QA/Manufacturing to improve manufacturability.
• Conduct spot audits and provide feedback for process improvement.
• Assist engineering on builds/prototypes to identify issues.
• Support management with process controls and work instruction creation.
