Job summary

Tomball Controls, LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to perform inspections, document findings, and drive improvements in our manufacturing environment. You will conduct electrical, paint, and assembly inspections and ensure products meet quality standards.

You will track non-conformities, prepare quality reports, and collaborate with production to implement corrective actions. Strong reading of drawings and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and visual awareness
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of quality management systems and familiarity with industry standards

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical, paint, and assembly inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Track and document non-conformities and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of non-conformities, inspection reports, and other quality related items.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and improve processes.
• Perform visual inspections and use measurement tools to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
• Assist in the preparation of quality reports and documentation.
• Participate in quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Write work instructions for work to be performed in production.
