Job summary

Tomball Controls, LLC is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to ensure generator enclosures, electrical installations, and incoming materials meet design specifications and quality standards.

You will document results, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to address quality concerns in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers and multimeters.
• Ability to read schematics is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and clear reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of generator enclosures to verify design and quality.
• Conduct electrical inspections to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Perform incoming inspections of parts and materials for compliance.
• Document inspection results and any non-conformities accurately.
• Maintain organized records and support corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports for the Quality Manager.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and purchasing on quality issues.
• Assist with audits and maintain quality documentation.
