Job summary

Anduril is seeking a quality engineering professional to own a portion of the production quality process, analyze data to uncover trends, and develop KPIs to drive cross-functional improvements. You will lead projects transforming a quality-related process, support the QMS, and document procedures for hardware at scale.

The role involves hands-on work with prototype hardware, collaboration with technicians, and potential supplier travel to address issues and implement procedures.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or has recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s in a technical field (engineering, math, or hard science).
• U.S. Person status may be required for access to controlled information; U.S. clearance may be required.
• Ability to start full time in 2027.

Responsibilities

• Own a portion of the production quality support for a product or set of products.
• Conduct data analysis and data mining to identify trends and patterns in product quality.
• Develop and maintain KPIs & OKR metrics to track quality and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Lead a project that transforms a quality engineering process, method, or data analytics approach.
• Support the quality management system and update documentation and training after project closure.
• Write required documentation for hardware quality at scale (work instructions, quality plans, inspection criteria).
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers on hands-on prototype hardware build and measurement.
• Possibly travel to suppliers for initial sourcing, issue resolution, and implementing quality procedures.
