Job summary

Anduril Industries offers a 12-week, in-person internship in one of our U.S. offices for summer 2027. You will analyze production quality, develop KPIs, and lead cross-functional improvements to drive performance.

We seek a student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Math, or a hard science, with return-to-school plans and U.S. Person eligibility required. This internship provides hands-on hardware work and potential travel to suppliers.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Math, or a hard science.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
• Ability to complete a 12-week in-person internship in one of our offices in summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Own a portion of the production quality support process for a certain product or set of products.
• Conduct data analysis and data mining to identify trends and patterns in product quality.
• Develop and maintain KPIs & OKR metrics to track product quality and identify areas for improvement and drive improvement through a cross-functional team.
• Lead a project that transforms an element of the quality engineering team – a process, new inspection method, or complex data analytic method(s).
• Support Anduril’s quality management system and manage changes to documentation and training at the conclusion of the project.
• Write documentation required for successful quality management for hardware at scale, such as work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements, etc.
• Work with technicians and other engineers hands-on, building and measuring prototype hardware
• Possibly travel to suppliers to do initial sourcing work, solve ongoing production issues, and implement quality procedures
