Job summary

Allient Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Tulsa, OK team. You will develop and sustain manufacturing processes to meet customer specs while achieving quality, throughput, and cost objectives.

You will lead implementation of manufacturing processes, apply validation principles, and drive process improvements to ensure product quality and repeatability. Collaborative cross-functional work is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; equivalent years of experience accepted.
  • 2–8 years of related work experience.
  • GMP, ISO 9000, and AS9100 knowledge required.
  • Excellent communication skills including training and presentations.
  • Six Sigma and/or lean manufacturing training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Defines, characterizes and leads the implementation of new manufacturing processes.
  • Applies engineering and validation principles to process design and sustainability.
  • Develops processes to be trouble free and aim for zero defects.
  • Supports concurrent engineering and participates in design development projects.
  • Designs, implements and documents procedures for process control and improvement.
  • Establishes KPIs and reporting for process quality decisions.
  • Performs root-cause analysis using quality tools including 3 Leg 5 Why.
  • Collects and analyzes statistical data to predict quality trends.
  • Assists with equipment selection and new equipment deployment.
