Berg Pipe is seeking a Quality Engineer at our Panama City, FL facility to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

You will support process validation, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, leveraging analytical tools to drive corrective actions and prevent recurrence. A bachelor’s degree in a technical field and experience with quality systems are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required or preferred.
• Experience with statistical analysis, data visualization, or reporting tools is preferred.
• Internship, co‑op, or work experience in manufacturing/quality environment is preferred.
• Experience with technical documents, specifications, or process data is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or root cause analysis is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing and quality process improvement activities through process evaluation, root cause analysis, and implementation of best practices.
• Assist with process validation, product validation, and implementation of new or revised processes, products, equipment, or system capabilities.
• Support Technical Services in reviewing customer, product, inspection, and testing requirements and translating them into actionable manufacturing and quality inputs.
• Assist with development and maintenance of technical order-execution documents (MPS, CPS, ITPs, inspection plans, testing instructions).
• Support OPTICS and other quality/manufacturing systems by ensuring requirements are entered, maintained, and communicated.
• Serve as cross-functional resource between departments to support quality, data, and order-execution needs.
• Support investigations of NCRs, customer complaints, deviations, supplier issues, and CPAR activities.
