Berg Pipe is seeking a Process Engineer with expertise in pipe production at our Panama City, Florida facility. This full-time role focuses on driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute continuous improvement projects from the conceptual stage through commissioning.
• Perform regular internal safety audits.
• Train and instruct employees on standard operating procedures.
• Develop and integrate continuous improvement into the site culture and daily activities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify projects supporting business initiatives.
• Manage reengineering of existing processes to improve efficiency.
• Review and revise production procedures for health and safety requirements.
• Improve internal production reporting forecast system.
• Create and monitor databases for production data.
• Analyze processes using value stream mapping and flowcharts.
• Establish and monitor process metrics and goals.
• Develop action plans to translate objectives into initiatives.
• Standardize and optimize new and existing processes.
• Establish best practices to optimize process control.
• Implement change management strategies.
• Support and sustain employee engagement.
• Present project objectives to senior management.
• Set up equipment parameters and coordinate with shift supervisors.
• Administer company policies and enforce safety/environmental rules.
• Ensure Berg Environmental Compliance policy is followed.
• Act as IDEA program manager for employee suggestions.
