Job summary

Borusan Berg Pipe is seeking a full-time Welding Engineer for its Panama City location. In this role, you will provide guidance and mentorship to welding technicians, while also developing training programs and implementing best practices to improve welding quality.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a steel manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of welding codes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The role contributes to quality improvements and process control in a leading North American pipe manufacturer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of working experience in steel manufacturing.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 and 1.5, ASME IX, API 5L, API 1104.
• Experience in public speaking and presenting to management.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Guide Welding Technicians and Process Engineers.
• Implement training programs for various welding techniques.
• Monitor and improve welding processes for quality and efficiency.
• Develop WPS/PQR and technical documentation.
