Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. (USA) is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance for products and processes, driving improvements and cross-functional problem solving.

You will develop inspection plans, implement corrective actions, and monitor KPI performance to reduce field failures and non-quality costs. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, experience in quality engineering, and familiarity with lean and six sigma tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required or equivalent experience.
• Quality engineering experience preferred; lean and Six Sigma familiarity desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with SAP and ERP systems highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality system procedures and review quality standards.
• Oversee KPIs, investigate issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Visit customer sites to assess product performance when needed.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and others to improve quality.
