Job summary

HSP US is seeking a Quality Engineer in Charlotte, NC, to drive quality planning, continuous improvement, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

You will analyze data, investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and develop standards to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• ASQ CQE/CQA certification preferred.
• 3-5 years in manufacturing quality engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and standards.
• Knowledge of GD&T and metrology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS processes and procedures.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA activities.
• Facilitate APQP activities including PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Support CNC machining and other manufacturing processes.
• Analyze quality data to identify improvements and reduce defects.
• Lead audits and support customer/supplier quality programs.
• Train staff in quality tools and best practices.
