MW Components is seeking a Quality Engineer to serve as a key technical resource in ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and company requirements. You will drive defect reduction, process improvements, and operational excellence across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

The role emphasizes MSA, SPC, CAPA, and 8D problem solving, with responsibilities spanning weld inspection, NDT, sheet metal fabrication, and process qualification.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years in Quality Engineering within regulated industries such as aerospace or defense.
• Proficient in analyzing quality data and applying QMS concepts to drive improvements.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and industry standards; experienced in NDT and welding inspections.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications, drawings, and quality requirements; guide cross-functional teams to ensure compliance.
• Analyze data using statistical methods to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Lead investigations of nonconformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform MSA, SPC, Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk studies and support audits and certifications.
• Support NPI, FAI, welding qualifications, sheet metal fabrication, and related processes.
