Kaney Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure compliance across programs from design through manufacturing and support. You will work with customers to identify and resolve quality concerns, leading corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and at least 5 years of progressive quality experience, with strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102 and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in a comparable quality role.
• Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9102, and AS9100 standards.
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience with corrective action methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary quality contact for Kaney, Inc. customers’ quality organizations.
• Evaluate and investigate customer concerns; coordinate corrective actions with teams.
• Provide timely responses with quality data: return goods status, action item status, and more.
• Develop, submit, and track deviations/waivers for nonconforming material.
• Ensure quality requirements flow to affected internal departments from quotes and contracts.
• Review customer quality ratings and analyze data to drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate and sponsor customer-driven continuous improvement programs.
• Lead teams to develop root cause analysis and corrective actions; report progress to customers.
• Attain Designated Quality Representative (DQR) status with customers.
• Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
