Job summary

Lin Engineering in Morgan Hill, CA, is seeking a Quality Engineer, Compliance to own internal audits, CAPA processes, and environmental/regulatory programs (REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, PFAS, and POPs). This on-site role collaborates with engineering, production, and supply chain to uphold product quality.

You will lead supplier declarations, train teammates on quality tools, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining QMS documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years in quality assurance, supplier quality, or manufacturing quality in a regulated industry.
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100 audits and QMS.
• Experience managing environmental compliance programs (REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, PFAS, POPs) including supplier declarations.
• CAPA ownership using 5 Whys, 8D, Fishbone/Ishikawa, or Six Sigma.
• Hands-on experience with FMEA, SPC, and PPAP.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, quality management software, and analytical tools (Minitab, JMP, or Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audits and drive corrective actions through to verified closure.
• Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints — root cause through resolution.
• Manage environmental and regulatory compliance programs: REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, PFAS, POPs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers on declarations of compliance.
• Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain to maintain process and product standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain quality documentation.
• Train team members on standards, inspection techniques, and quality tools.
