Job summary

Autokiniton in the United States is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to develop, implement, and enhance QA processes. You will use data analysis to improve quality reporting and drive continuous improvement across engineering and supplier development teams.

The role supports ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16969 audits, designs quality controls, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to prevent defects and exceed customer expectations. Reports to the Quality Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in quality engineering or supplier development.
• GD&T experience is a plus.
• Experience with measurement equipment such as CMM and Laser Scanning.

• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve QA processes using data analysis.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 and ISO IATF 16969 audits.
• Design quality processes and controls.
• Evaluate designs, drawings, project plans and specifications.
• Lead cross-functional teams to solve quality problems.
• Drive a progressive quality system to prevent defects and meet customer expectations.
• Contribute to departmental strategic goals with measurable metrics.
• Work with customers to obtain APQP documents like Process Flow, PFMEA and Control Plans.

This candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality assurance processes. Throughout the implementation and maintenance process, this candidate should use data analysis to better understand quality reporting measures and improve processes.

Support internal as well as third party ISO: 9001:2015 Quality Management System audits and ISO- IATF 16969.

Perform research and design for quality processes and controls.

Evaluate designs, drawings, project plans, specifications, and other documents.

Initiate and facilitate cross-functional teams in pursuit of problem solving and mistake proofing quality problems.

Drive implementation of a progressive quality system to prevent defects and meet or exceed customer expectations.

Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals.

Works with customers to obtain all necessary APQP documents including Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plans.

This full-time, salary, role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Quality Manager.

Required experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in quality engineering or supplier development. Experience in Geometric Dimensional & Tolerance (GD&T) a plus.
• Experience in programming with knowledge of measurement equipment such as CMM and Laser Scanning.
