Qualifications

• Willingness to travel for training or plant visits.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, supervise and participate in quality studies for quality systems.
• Coordinate with Plant Management, Supervisors, Maintenance and Process Engineers.
• Follow ASTM, AASHTO and Plant Quality Standards Manuals.
• Support the Quality Manager and resolve customer complaints about cement quality or delivery.
• Promote ongoing improvement in quality systems.
• Collaborate with DOT and Federal agencies to certify lab procedures and equipment.
• Be on-call to cover plant needs and assist the Quality Manager as needed.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with State DOT for cement approval and Federal agencies for lab certification.
