Job summary

MPI is seeking a Quality Engineer to support customer quality, inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across the facility. This role serves as the liaison between customers and manufacturing operations to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on inspection experience, PPAP/CAPA expertise, and experience with ERP systems. Join a stable, family-owned manufacturing environment with exposure to aerospace and industrial customers.

Qualifications

Hands-on inspection experience required
PPAP experience required
CAPA experience required
Experience handling RMAs and customer quality concerns
Familiarity with ERP systems
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems preferred
CMM experience, MCOSMOS is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Perform and support product inspections and quality verification activities
Lead corrective action investigations and CAPA initiatives
Manage customer RMAs and quality-related concerns
Collaborate directly with customers to address quality issues and improvement opportunities
Prepare and submit PPAP documentation
Support quality system compliance and continuous improvement activities
Analyze quality data and identify trends
Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve nonconformances
Assist with audits and quality documentation
Support ERP-related quality processes and reporting
