Job summary

Prysmian Group seeks a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain systems that achieve quality objectives across manufacturing sites. You will lead testing and the collection of quality data for reporting and corrective actions.

You will audit against UL, ETL and CSA standards, perform process capability analyses, and drive continuous improvement with cross‑functional teams. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing quality are required; Lean Six Sigma and ASQ credentials

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing quality.
• Lean Six Sigma experience and certification is a plus.
• ASQ certification in Quality Engineering is a plus.
• Experience with UL/ETL/CSA standards is advantageous.
• Experience in wire and cable, metallurgy of steel tubing is a plus.
• Proficiency with ASQ tools and quality auditing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems to achieve quality objectives.
• Maintain records to demonstrate compliance with UL, ETL, CSA and other external organizations.
• Lead associates to perform testing and reporting of quality data.
• Evaluate trends using statistical analysis and lead corrective actions.
• Investigate, evaluate, and report returned product from customers.
• Interact with suppliers and support internal audits and certifications.
