Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Обеспечение качества end-to-end в области Compute Solutions.
• Проверка изменений across VPS, Cloud Dedicated, storage и bare metal от спецификации до продакшна.
• Разработка и поддержка автоматизированных тестовых фреймворков и покрытие тестами.
• Разработка тестов для изменений инфраструктуры и приложений, включая регрессию и сценарии отказов.
• Определение тестовых стратегий на ранних стадиях разработки.
• Определение рисков и пределов тестирования до реализации.
• Работа с инженерами для устранения неоднозначностей и проверки ожидаемого поведения.
• Проверка изменений в сложных инфраструктурных средах и документирование результатов.
• Ежедневное использование AI-tools, верификация вывода и ответственность за итоговый результат.

• Own quality end to end within the Compute Solutions domain
• Take responsibility for validating changes across VPS, Cloud Dedicated, storage, and bare metal products from specification through development, deployment, and production
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and test coverage
• Develop automated tests for infrastructure and application changes, including regression, integration, and failure-path scenarios
• Define testing strategies early in development
• Identify risks, dependencies, edge cases, and operational failure scenarios before implementation is complete
• Translate requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria
• Work with engineers and stakeholders to remove ambiguity and make expected behavior objectively verifiable
• Validate changes across complex infrastructure environments, including interactions between compute, virtualization, storage, networking, and supporting software components
• Verify changes and provide evidence, including meaningful test results, coverage, and validation of expected behavior and failure scenarios in pull requests
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools daily for testing, automation, and review; critically validate generated output and remain accountable for the final result
• Review other engineers’ code and test changes, identify quality, reliability, and operational risks early, and provide actionable feedback
• Improve testing efficiency by replacing repetitive validation work with reliable automation where practical
• Participate in incident analysis, identify test coverage gaps, and improve automated testing and engineering practices based on production issues
• Build effective test coverage for complex, legacy, unfamiliar, or existing systems without unnecessary rewrites
• Mentor engineers in quality practices and share testing approaches, automation techniques, and quality standards
• Coordinate quality dependencies across teams and ensure cross-team changes are tested appropriately
• Own features end to end, clarify unknowns up front, and deliver live, monitored changes
• Write precise specifications before coding and resolve ambiguity in writing with requesters
• Run the AI harness daily, use agentic tooling and automated pull-request reviews, and build reusable skills to share with the team
• Include tests with every change, gate on changed-code coverage, and exercise failure cases as well as happy paths
• Review designs promptly, identify problems while they are inexpensive to fix, and provide specific feedback
• Pair with less experienced engineers on complex changes, explain reasoning, and provide timely feedback
• Take part in the on-call rotation, document incidents and actions, reduce toil, and document knowledge to avoid a single point of failure
• Read and safely modify unfamiliar code, and improve its instrumentation
• Identify dependencies early, coordinate directly with their owners, and resolve them ahead of related work

• 5+ Years of experience with automated testing frameworks and software quality engineering
• Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites for production systems
• Experience testing complex environments with multiple infrastructure or application components
• Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, and failure-path testing
• Experience defining test strategies and translating requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria
• Experience working closely with engineers throughout the development lifecycle, not only after development is complete
• Ability to read application or infrastructure code to identify risks, test gaps, and potential defects
• Experience with production systems and incident analysis, using production issues to improve test coverage
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted engineering or testing tools in daily technical work
• Strong written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team across multiple time zones
• 5+ Years in software engineering, building and running production software, with ownership of shipped work after release
• Depth in at least one part of a production system and ability to understand unfamiliar parts; able to review code in a language not used daily and identify problems
• Able to specify requirements precisely, critically review generated code, identify its failure modes, and explain pre-merge checks
• Habit of writing tests alongside changes, gating on changed code, and using tests to catch mistakes
• Experience operating systems built, including a production on-call rotation, ownership of an incident, and a follow-up write-up that led to a change
• Clear written communication, with decisions and trade-offs recorded for colleagues across time zones
