Arnold Magnetic Technologies in Greenville, Ohio, is seeking a Quality Engineer to support military, aerospace, energy, and industrial programs. You will develop and implement quality requirements for new launches and post-launch production, ensure compliance with QMS, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis.

You will review contracts, generate inspection documents, lead RCCA activities, mentor QA technicians, and collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to uphold customer

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or five years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in gage metrology with a strong understanding of measurement principles.
• Ability to read and understand product drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency with software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with inspection techniques and knowledge of statistical sampling plans.
• Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and similar inspection equipment.
• Experience with SPC techniques.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, TS 16949/IATF 16949, and/or AS9100 standards.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform contract review for new or revised products.
• Ensure the Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, AS 9100, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate product inspection documentation to ensure customer requirements compliance.
• Prepare FIRST Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) per AS 9102 as required.
• Prepare PPAP packages as required.
• Define supplier quality requirements and assist in resolving supplier quality issues.
• Lead RCCA activities for quality problems from audits, returns, or scrap.
• Mentor QA technicians and train personnel on quality tools and processes.
• Support engineering and manufacturing during new product launches and post-launch activities.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and process improvements.
• Support supplier development and quality improvement activities.
