Job summary

Aeon Industries is seeking a Quality Engineer to help build a world-class manufacturing organization as we move from NPI to full-rate production of complex assemblies. You’ll establish and strengthen quality systems to meet ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, reporting to the VP of Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Industrial).
• Six Sigma Green Belt.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience with PFMEA, control plans, and MSA (Gage R&R).
• Experience with corrective action/nonconformance systems.
• Ability to establish quality systems in a fast-growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Support PFMEA risk assessment and validation of Control Plans.
• Lead measurement system analysis and validation (DFQ).
• Develop and maintain nonconformance and corrective action records for build/process failures.
• Establish incoming quality inspection for purchased components.
• Build outgoing/final inspection and test processes.
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ qualification activities for new processes and equipment.
• Establish stage-gate development process and participate in product gate reviews.
• Drive AS9100 compliance with validated practices and procedures.
• Support first-article inspection (FAI) and post-exit production monitoring where full capability studies aren’t feasible.
