Job summary

MOHR Talent in West Point, MS is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead the AS9100 quality system advancement. You will develop procedures, manage audits, and drive data-driven improvements to meet aerospace standards.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and experience with ISO/AS standards, Nadcap preferred, and the ability to obtain a security clearance if needed. We offer a competitive salary with bonus, 401(k) match, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO quality standards; AS9100 or Nadcap preferred.

A well established and growing aerospace manufacturer with a reputation for stability and a team that cares about their people is hiring a Quality Engineer to help lead their quality management system into its next stage of growth.

What You'll Do:

• Develop quality procedures aligned with customer requirements and process specifications


• Build and maintain sampling plans using recognized statistical methods


• Lead internal audits to prepare the team for external certification reviews


• Support the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and Nadcap standards


• Review engineering drawings to identify key characteristics and critical items


• Collect, analyze, and summarize quality data to drive measurable improvements


• Monitor, test, and inspect products to confirm they meet all specified standards

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field


• Demonstrated experience in a similar quality role, preferably within aerospace or defense manufacturing


• Experience working within ISO quality management standards, AS9100 or Nadcap strongly preferred


• Must be able to obtain a security clearance if required


• Must be a U.S. person as defined by federal export control regulations
