MOHR Talent is seeking a QA Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in Aberdeen, MS. You will help lead the quality management system into its next stage of growth.

Responsibilities include developing quality procedures, leading internal audits, supporting AS9100/Nadcap compliance, reviewing drawings for critical items, and driving measurable quality improvements through data analysis and inspection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in aerospace/defense quality role.
• Familiarity with ISO, AS9100 or Nadcap standards.
• Eligible for security clearance and U.S. person.

Job description

A well established and growing aerospace manufacturer with a reputation for stability and a team that cares about their people is hiring a Quality Engineer to help lead their quality management system into its next stage of growth.

What You'll Do:

• Develop quality procedures aligned with customer requirements and process specifications
• Build and maintain sampling plans using recognized statistical methods
• Lead internal audits to prepare the team for external certification reviews
• Support the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and Nadcap standards
• Review engineering drawings to identify key characteristics and critical items
• Collect, analyze, and summarize quality data to drive measurable improvements
• Monitor, test, and inspect products to confirm they meet all specified standards

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in a similar quality role, preferably within aerospace or defense manufacturing
• Experience working within ISO quality management standards, AS9100 or Nadcap strongly preferred
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance if required
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by federal export control regulations
