Job summary

TVS SCS NA is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards under the guidance of the Quality Manager. The role emphasizes APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and IATF16949/ISO9001 compliance in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will lead process control improvements, collaborate with suppliers and customers on corrective actions, and support new product launches from quoting through SORP, ensuring robust quality systems and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field is required.
• APQP Core Tool Knowledge and related quality systems experience preferred.
• ASQ CQE or similar certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in a supply chain/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop test methods/procedures to support product validation efforts.
• Serve as QA resource to resolve issues and lead corrective actions.
• Design and implement methods for process control, improvement, and testing.
• Coordinate APQP, PFMEA, Process Flow, PPAP, and Gage/MSA documentation and submissions.
