Job summary
Woodbridge in Tennessee is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives, drive new product introductions, and ensure TS16949 compliance.
You will collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering and Production to meet customer specs, coordinate PPAP submissions, and implement robust corrective actions.
Strong background in IATF16949, FMEA, SPC, and PPAP, plus travel willingness, will help you succeed in this role.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in quality systems for automotive manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of Quality Engineering experience.
- Experience with PPAP and APQP processes.
- Excellent knowledge of IATF16949, FMEA, SPC.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate new product introductions from concept to production.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure TS16949 program implementation and documentation.
- Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production and Suppliers.
- Prepare PPAP submissions and coordinate engineering changes.
- Track program timing and conduct minutes for reviews.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through all stages.
- Perform statistical analysis to drive improvements.
