Job summary

Morgan Advanced Materials, a global leader in advanced materials, is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure processes, equipment, and quality systems meet customer specifications and regulatory standards. The role supports MRB, CAPA, and NCMR activities across Aerospace and Medical markets.

You will work with Solidworks/AutoCAD, perform data analysis, and help implement robust quality improvement programs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a dynamic, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• ASQ-CQE certification is desirable but not required.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably Aerospace/Medical Manufacturing.
• ITAR/CUI compliance knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Update documentation and train staff on quality processes (MRB, RMA, CAPA, NCMR).
• Direct MRB activities, track non-conformances and analyze RMAs/NCMRs.
• Perform investigations and develop root-cause analyses for deviations.
• Maintain CAPA database and monitor CAPA effectiveness.
• Coordinate RMA process including approval, verification, disposition and CAPA issuance.
• Assist in audits (internal, 3rd party, customer) to sustain ISO/AS quality systems.
• Develop and monitor quality plans, FMEAs, pFMEAs and control plans.
• Execute measurement and inspection using CMM/SmartScope and improve techniques.
