John Deere Waterloo Works in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Quality Engineer for the 3rd shift. You will provide production support, quality procedures, and tools to monitor critical processes while ensuring products meet customer expectations.

The role requires 1+ years in quality/manufacturing engineering, knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, and GD&T, plus data analysis. A 4-year degree in Manufacturing Technology or Engineering is preferred. Proficiency with Power BI/Minitab is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related quality/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience using quality tools like FMEA, SPC, RCA, Control Plans, Gauge R&R, MSA and capability studies.
• Experience with gear or shaft manufacturing standards, processes, and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with data gathering and statistical analysis.
• Experience driving closed-loop corrective actions with rigorous root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for containment, inspections, quality procedures and monitoring tools.
• Support operations with quality planning, control and continuous improvement to meet customer expectations.
• Report defined quality metrics to operations and leadership.
• Availability to work during the 3rd shift.
