Leidos Defense Sector's Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Quality Engineer 2nd Shift to ensure machined components and assemblies meet strict quality standards. You will support QA requirements, develop inspection procedures, and coordinate nonconformance dispositions.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, process improvement, and adherence to AS9100, with collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.
• Experience in non-conforming material, failure analysis, root-cause identification and corrective actions.
• Experience writing QMS documentation and AS9100-related procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and interpret contract quality requirements.

Aufgaben

• Support manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing for aerospace and defense manufacturing.
• Develop inspection/test procedures and process plans; review nonconformance documentation; support root cause/corrective action.
• Review and approve new/revised drawings and process plans; conduct quality inspections of components and assemblies.
• Document nonconforming materials and coordinate MRB dispositions; collect quality metrics.
