e Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the quality systems. The Quality Engineer uses six sigma, lean, and best practices to provide technical support and problem solving related to part quality and process reliability. This position requires direct interaction and cross functional collaboration. Must work well in teams and be able to lead from start to finish teams in accomplishing projects with included metrics. Will lead and complete corrective actions as required by customers and internal needs. The Quality Engineer will coordinate PPAPs through the shop and complete all required documentation. The Quality Engineer will support the development and management of suppliers. The Quality Engineer will implement, support, and improve inspection plans to include CMM programming and inspection activities. The Quality Engineer also implements cost improvement plans to meet company financial goals. This position is responsible to plan, implement and measure the results of projects and supplies technical support in a company environment where the challenges vary as business shifts.

- Generates Standard Work Instructions for Quality Assurance processes.

Ducation, Skills And Experience
- Preferred minimum of a 4yr Engineering degree or equivalent
- A minimum two (5) years in an engineering or machine shop environment, or
- a
t least two (5) years hands-on experience in manufacturing
- Six Sigma Greenbelt certification preferred
- Must be able to read, interpret and apply blueprints, including geometric tolerance symbols
- Has knowledge and experience of machine processes and tooling
- Has working knowledge of CAD software
- Must have advanced PC abilities utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, CAD, database and scheduling tools
- Must have knowledge of fixture and tooling practices
- Must possess an organized and professional approach to managing projects
- Displaying strong analytical skills, ability to learn new technologies and a
