Job summary

Dynomax, Inc. is expanding its quality team in Wheeling, IL. The Quality Engineer will drive continual improvement of the quality system and oversee RCCA and FAIR activities to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in quality or engineering fields, experience with CNC machining, GD&T, CAD, and ISO9001/AS9100; Six-Sigma certification is a plus. You will collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering, Math or equivalent experience.
• Experience with close tolerance CNC machining of metals or composites, injection mold processes, or electrical connector manufacture.
• Knowledge of GD&T, drawings, CAD files, routers, procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality management processes.
• Experience with RCCA and DMAIC data-driven quality strategies.
• Six-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
• Supplier quality experience is a plus.

• Resolving failures using the RCCA process.

• Developing and implementing process control plans and inspection processes.

QUALITY ENGINEER

QUALITY ENGINEER Dynomax, Inc is expanding! With the additional machines and projects, maintaining quality is a priority. Quality starts with knowing the customer and understanding their requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the FAIR and RCCA processes. This is a great opportunity for a Quality Engineer with a strong background in electrical components or aerospace/defense.

Job Responsibilities

• Working on continual improvement to enhance the quality system, such as 6-Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and lean methods
• Improving company processes in the team environment
• Working effectively with Customers, Internal parties and Suppliers
• Resolving Customer, Internal and Supplier failures using the RCCA process
• Developing FAIR's and overseeing their completion and presentation to the customer and/or regulatory authority
• Completing Contract Review and Quality Planning
• Developing and implementing process control plans, gaging systems and inspection process
• Supporting production functions

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering, Math or equivalent experience
• Experience with close tolerance CNC machining of metals or composites, injection mold processes, or electrical connector manufacture/assembly
• Working knowledge of GD&T, Drawings, CAD files, Routers, Procedures and Work Instructions
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge in the practical application of SPC
• Understanding of gages and measurement in close tolerance work environment
• Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality management processes
• Experience with the RCCA - Root Cause Corrective Action Process
• Experience with DMAIC and data-driven quality strategies
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to author work instructions/documents
• 6-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification is a plus
• Supplier Quality experience a plus
