Job summary

Dynomax, Inc is seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality initiatives across CNC metal/composite machining, injection molding, or connector assembly. The role focuses on maintaining a robust quality system and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include RCCA, FAIRs, quality planning, and collaboration with customers and suppliers. A Bachelor’s degree and experience with ISO9001/AS9100 are preferred, with a bias toward data-driven, DMAIC approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Math or equivalent experience.
• Experience with close tolerance CNC machining of metals or composites, injection mold processes, or electrical connector manufacture/assembly.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, Drawings, CAD files, Routers, Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Experience with RCCA and DMAIC methods.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality management processes.

Responsibilities

• Improve quality system using 6-Sigma, 5S, Kaizen and lean methods.
• Improve company processes in a team environment.
• Work with Customers, Internal parties and Suppliers.
• Resolve Customer, Internal and Supplier failures using RCCA.
• Develop and oversee FAIRs and present to customer/regulatory authority.
• Complete Contract Review and Quality Planning.
• Develop and implement process control plans and inspection processes.
• Support production functions.

QUALITY ENGINEER

Dynomax, Incis expanding! With the additional machines and projects, maintaining quality is a priority. Quality starts with knowing the customer and understanding their requirements. The successful candidatewill also be responsible for overseeing the FAIR and RCCA processes.This is a great opportunity for aQuality Engineerwith a strong background in electrical components or aerospace/defense.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working on continual improvement to enhance the quality system, such as 6-Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and lean methods
• Improving company processes in the team environment
• Working effectively with Customers, Internal parties and Suppliers
• Resolving Customer, Internal and Supplier failures using the RCCA process
• Developing FAIR's and overseeing their completion and presentation to the customer and/or regulatory authority
• Completing Contract Review and Quality Planning
• Developing and implementing process control plans, gaging systems and inspection process
• Supporting production functions

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering, Math or equivalent experience
• Experience with close tolerance CNC machining of metals or composites, injection mold processes, or electrical connector manufacture/assembly
• Working knowledge of GD&T, Drawings, CAD files, Routers, Procedures and Work Instructions
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge in the practical application of SPC
• Understanding of gages and measurement in close tolerance workenvironment
• Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality management processes
• Experience with the RCCA - Root Cause Corrective Action Process
• Experience with DMAIC anddata-driven quality strategies
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to author work instructions/documents
• 6-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification is a plus
• Supplier Quality experience a plus
