Position Summary

This position provides tactical support for activities related to existing products within the North America DC Network. Responsibilities include overseeing QA activities, managing re-pack/re-box operations, conducting investigations for quality issues, maintaining accountability for non-conforming products, and driving continuous improvement in the DCs.

Responsibilities
  1. Support all elements of the corporate Human Resources Development and Diversity policy as appropriate.
  2. Manage personal conduct according to Leadership Qualities.
  3. Support solving technical problems related to quality issues and technologies.
  4. Assist in developing and implementing new quality concepts, tools, and strategies.
  5. Maintain control of non-conforming products and conduct cycle counts for accountability.
  6. Support new product launches.
  7. Drive continuous improvement through audits and analysis.
  8. Provide QA oversight for reboxing, kit packing, and product returns.
  9. Participate in corrective and preventive actions.
  10. Oversee protocol execution and meet training requirements.
  11. Contribute to department reputation by taking ownership and exploring value-added opportunities.
  12. Assist in developing and maintaining quality metrics.
  13. Conduct employee training audits.
  14. Collaborate with management across departments.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science is required. Up to three years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing is preferred. Certifications like CQA, CQE, or CQBA are advantageous. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Skills
  • Basic knowledge of quality engineering and control principles, statistics, and software like Minitab.
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred, with knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 beneficial.
  • Understanding of relevant federal regulations.
  • Proficiency with electronic quality/regulatory software is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
Additional Requirements

Limited travel up to 15% may be required.
