In addition to creating thriving nonprofits, we’re also in the business of creating thriving employees. At Bloomerang, you’ll be a part of a mission-driven culture built on the core values of Simplify, Care, and Act. We know the key to our success is our people, and we’re proud to be home to some of the most innovative and skilled employees in the workforce today.

The Role

The Engineering & Quality Assurance teams are the nuts & bolts of the Bloomerang organization. The main goal of the Quality Assurance (QA) department is to help create a quality product. Your job is not only bug searching and regular product testing, but to also prevent defects accordingly. You ensure the high quality of the development process and its results. A QA Engineer executes each of these responsibilities with high accuracy and attention to detail.

What You Will Do

  • Perform and execute all types of testing approaches (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, etc.) using the appropriate testing methods. This includes but is not limited to Session Based Testing and automation runs.
  • Write and maintain a suite of automation tests for your scrum team.
  • Collaborate and communicate with Product Managers, Developers, Customer Support and other QE to create ‘‘best in class’ Test Plans and Test Strategies.
  • Work with Developers and Architects to analyze risk, determine coverage and create testing plans & strategies.
  • Be an active member on the scrum team as a strong and vocal champion for quality in every phase of the SDLC.
  • Review and analyze test results to identify and report software error patterns and defects. Use metrics to track the team's success and to determine Final Green Light for deploys & releases.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 2-3+ years of dedicated experience in software quality engineering, with significant hands-on experience in test automation.
  • Proficiency in automating API and UI tests, with practical experience using modern frameworks like Playwright.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement regression tests from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with a commitment to improving quality processes within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage in constructive dialogue, advocate for quality, and effectively mentor associate QE team members.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Nice to Haves But Not Required

  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement test automation suites from the ground up, particularly for regression testing.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Exposure to or interest in leveraging AI/ML tools for Quality Engineering tasks, such as AI-assisted test generation, defect prediction, or intelligent test execution.
  • Familiarity with using AI-powered tools to improve test script stability or identify visual regressions.

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
