Job summary

Storm Search is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations, new product development, customer quality requirements, and continuous improvement. This role leads problem-solving, quality systems, and customer-facing quality initiatives while partnering with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Quality leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Manufacturing or related technical field.
• 5–7 years quality engineering experience in manufacturing or foundry environment.
• Experience with AIAG PPAP requirements, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and MSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer complaint resolution using RCCA and root cause analysis.
• Support new product launches through APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and MSA.
• Maintain and improve plant-level Quality Management Systems.
• Review customer specifications, blueprints, and technical requirements during pre-production planning.
• Provide quality engineering support to manufacturing and operations.
• Develop and submit PPAP documentation for new product launches.
• Support internal, customer, ISO/IATF, and quality system audits.
• Facilitate corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply statistical and problem-solving techniques to address quality issues.
• Partner with Sales and Engineering on customer quality concerns and audits.
• Help train employees on quality systems, procedures, and improvement methods.

A leading investment casting manufacturer is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations, new product development, customer quality requirements, and continuous improvement. This role will serve as a key resource for problem-solving, quality systems, and customer-facing quality initiatives while partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Quality leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Familiarity with IATF, ISO, and Quality Management System requirements.
• Knowledge of tooling, material characteristics, machining, and general manufacturing practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment and quality tools preferred.
