Job summary

Teledyne Reynolds is seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance professional to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on program quality support, customer interface, and ensuring that products meet stringent requirements through audits, calibration, and rigorous documentation.

Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and the ability to read complex drawings are essential. Candidates should have a STEM degree and 3 years of QA/engineering experience, preferably in aerospace, and be proficient with MS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or other STEM field.
  • Understanding of customer contract review, quality requirement flow downs.
  • 3 years quality assurance or related engineering experience (aerospace/aviation preferred).
  • Must read and interpret engineering, quality, and manufacturing drawings including specifications, standards and procedures.
  • Experience in ISO 9001/AS9100 environment.
  • Familiar with mechanical inspection techniques and measurement tools.
  • Experience in calibration preferred.
  • Knowledge of six sigma tools (Minitab, JMP, R).

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and interpret Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing drawings including specifications, standards and procedures
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001/AS9100 quality management system environment
  • Must be familiar with the application and use of mechanical inspection techniques and measurement tools
  • Experience in managing calibration preferred.
  • Experience in RCCA/PA, continuous improvement, fishbone analysis, and 5 Why methodologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (i.e. customer and supplier interface)
  • Extensive familiarity and practical use of computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Preferred skills and capabilities:
    • Ability to set and achieve goals
    • Understanding of quality processes
    • Familiarity with DCMA/Gov’t Source Inspection
    • Knowledge of six sigma tools Statistical software, (i.e. Minitab, JMP, R)
    • Green Belt certified CMM
    • Programming Ability to work independently

When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills.

Salary Range: $62,800.00-$83,700.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
