Curtiss-Wright Corporation seeks a Quality Engineer in Tempe, AZ to develop, implement, and continuously improve quality systems across manufacturing operations. You will analyze data, resolve quality issues, support audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality across the production lifecycle.

You will contribute to product quality, process reliability, and operational consistency, applying regulatory standards and Six Sigma practices while driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing quality support.
• Working knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and regulatory standards (GLP, GMP, ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Experience analyzing production data, evaluating nonconformances, and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of quality documentation practices and product assurance requirements.
• Effective communication for cross-functional collaboration and customer/vendor interaction.
• Ability to support audits in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, apply, and refine quality standards, inspection criteria, and procedures for receiving, in-process, and final product evaluation to ensure compliance with internal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze production data, review nonconformances, determine dispositions, and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and process stability.
• Provide technical support to inspection and production teams, interpreting specifications, resolving quality issues, and ensuring consistent application of inspection methods.
• Support customer, vendor, and internal department interactions by addressing quality concerns, participating in audits, and preparing required product assurance documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, recommending updates to quality standards, and supporting enhancements to test methods and procedures.
