Communicate quality performance metrics.* Lead associates to effectively perform required testing and reporting of quality data.* Evaluate trends using statistical analysis and lead / collaborate with other departments in the development of corrective actions.* Investigate, evaluate, and report returned product from customers.* Lead / coordinate corrective actions. Interact with customer visits (offsite or onsite) as needed.* Lead plant efforts to maintain quality requirements and certification. Identify and lead continuous improvement projects.* Perform related duties as directed by the Quality Manager.* Develop / qualify (MSA) inspection, measuring and test equipment as needed. Interact with suppliers as needed for audits, certifications and purchased material concerns.* Lead various activities to support new processes and business.* Serve as internal auditor for the NA QMS.* Interact with and assist the lab as needed.**Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical degree* 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (quality preferred).* Lean/Six Sigma experience and certification is a plus.* Quality system auditing is a plus.* ASQ Certification in Quality Engineering is a plus.* Experience in wire and cable, metallurgy of steel tubing is a plus.**Compensation*** The typical base salary range for this role is $81,000.00 to $121,000.00. Actual placement within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant, experience, education, skills and geographic location.
