Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Utah is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to develop and maintain quality systems across processing materials and finished products. You will drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure standards and compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Devises and implements methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.
  • Conducts quality assurance tests,
  • Performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine responsibility for products or materials that do not meet standards.
  • Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
  • Ensures corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation is compliant with requirements.
  • Specializes in areas such as design, incoming material, production control, and reliability as applied to product or process quality.
  • May be certified in Lean and Six Sigma quality engineering methodologies.

Job description

  • May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
  • May be certified in Lean and Six Sigma quality engineering methodologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in a STEM field)
  • 1 or more years of experience in manufacturing Quality Assurance
Preferred
  • Aerospace or automotive experience
  • Supplier Quality Process experience
