Jobot in San Jose, CA is seeking a dynamic Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team on a permanent, on-site basis. You will drive continuous improvement, lead quality control and quality assurance programs, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing.

  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and process engineering.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality control and assurance plans, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance.

  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and improve processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of manufacturing processes and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of all quality control and assurance activities.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality standards, tools, and techniques.

We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and passionate Permanent Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be integral in ensuring the quality of our products and processes. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, quality control, and quality assurance within our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance our manufacturing processes and improve product quality.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement, quality control, and quality assurance.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and process engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
